In Loving Memory of Elijah Rose Holmes

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Elijah Rose Holmes, the cherished dog and beloved son of TaiJanae Holmes.

Elijah was born in October 2016 and peacefully crossed the Rainbow Bridge on July 5, 2026. While we take comfort in knowing he is now running free in Heaven, our hearts will forever be changed by his absence.

Elijah leaves behind his devoted dog sister, Jayla Marie; his feline sister, Kaori; and a host of beloved dog cousins who shared in his adventures and companionship.

A spirited yet gentle Chihuahua, Elijah never met a stranger. He loved making friends with animals of every size and had a personality that brought joy wherever he went. Whether he was proudly dressed for a day at work, soaking up the sunshine from his favorite window, or simply being close to those he loved, Elijah filled every moment with warmth, loyalty, and unconditional love.

He also leaves behind the humans who adored him: Uncle TJ, Aunt Teja, TyJalyn, his Gi-Gi, Pop-Pop, and Great Gran Sarah. Each of them was blessed by the love, comfort, and happiness he brought into their lives.

Though his paws no longer walk beside us, Elijah's paw prints remain forever on our hearts. His love, playful spirit, and gentle soul will never be forgotten.

Elijah Rose Holmes, you were deeply loved, and you will be deeply missed. Run free until we meet again.
